It is becoming increasingly clear that the 2G GSM/GPRS is on the verge of, or has already reached, the end of its lifespan in many countries and regions, including Australia and Canada. However, there are still some projects that require remote wireless communication or access to the Internet, such as remote environmental monitoring. Given the investment required and the inherent risks, the LTE 4G is currently the most viable solution for many cases,until we finally find a better way such as 5G/ Starlink in the distant future.
This air monitor is specially used for green house monitoring, it detects:
- Air temperature& humility
- CO2 concentration and Air quality TVOC
- Light intensity
This module transmits temperature, humidity, light intensity, CO2 equivalent concentration, and TVOC to the internet via 4G. This air monitor is powered by internal 18650 lipo battery charged by solar panel, the power down current lower as 165uA. With the solar panel to charge the battery and low power consumption, the device can operate for extended periods. And then transmit the data via the 4G LTE network, so user can monitor the field status or have them recorded for long-term analyze.
