Makerfabs MaMUWB has reached a New Milestone

Ultra-wideband (UWB) is a short-range, wireless communication protocol that operates through radio waves, enabling secure, reliable ranging and precision sensing, thereby creating a new dimension of spatial context for wireless devices. In field application, the most significant challenge associated with UWB is the occurrence of signal mutual conflicts/interference, particularly when multiple anchor and tags are present, it need special deal with Time division multiplexing, which is difficult for learns/ DIY. To address this challenge,Makerfabs has developed the MaUWB module.

Based on an STM32 controller and DW3000, We've developed the MaUWB chipset , it composed of STM32 and DW3000/PA, as well as AT Command and Serial Output. It runs Makerfabs' default firmware, which outputs the direct distance measurement results among multiple anchors (max. 8) and tags (max. 64).
