LoRaWAN is good,but sometimes you do not need LoRaWAN, or it difficult/expensive to implement a LoRaWAN network, not to mention the cloud. Actually, Makerfabs think that in these applications, a simple LoRa P2P make the story easy/convenient, that is why we developed the SenseLora products.
Function:
Makerfabs SenseLoRa soil monitor detects the soil status, include soil Temperature/ Humility/ PH, and transmit the data via LoRa P2P to LoRa Receiver(can be on your room desk) , for soil instant monitor, or long-term analysis.
The monitor name/data cycle can be set with a phone, so it can be implemented in the filed easily.
This soil monitor is powered by internal lipo battery charged by solar panel, can be used at least 1 years with default setting (cycle 1 hours).

The Lora receiver work with SenseLora modules, it receive LoRa signal around and forward to computer, so the data can be display/record/analyze on PC.

Option 2:Monitor + SenseLoRa_4G LTE CAT1 Gateway---Flexible data transmission.
The 4G LTE CAT1 Gateway work with SenseLora modules, it get the LoRa data and then transmit the data via 4G to cloud server such as TTN, or the monitors phone with SMS.
