Wi-Fi HaLow is a Wi-Fi technology that uses the IEEE 802.11ah protocol to provide long-range, low-power connectivity. There has been much related explanations about Halow’s advantage/disadvantages such as this. Makerfabs believe the most advantage of Halow, is its relative long-range connections.
This Maduino Zero Wi-Fi Halow could be a good prototyping board to deploy Halow-based IOT applications. It is composed by SAMD21 controller (Arduino zero Compatible) and TX-AH chipset from Taixin , can operate in the channel width of 1/2/4/8MHz, and can provide a physical throughput of 150 Kbps to 32.5Mbps. Users can quickly create a Halow transmission system, for remote sensing/controlling.
This module be powered up with USB-Type-C or standard 3.7V lipo battery(can be charged directly by the USB), it can be programmed by Arduino IDE.
There are 2 versions with different Frequeny for WiFi halow:
There is also ESP32S3 Wifi Halow in design for Wifi Halow access to Internet.
