This NBIOT/LTE-M1 Air Monitor is equipped with the ability to transmit temperature, humidity, light intensity, CO2 equivalent concentration, and TVOC to the network via SIM7080G. This air monitor is powered by internal 18650 lipo battery charged by solar panel.
It is designed to operate for extended periods with the solar panel to charge the battery and enter a low-power state. And then transmit the data via the NBIOT/LTE-M network, so user can monitor the field status or have them recorded for long-term analyze.
This air monitor is specially used for green house monitoring, it detects:
What is NB-IoT
NB-IoT (NarrowBand-Internet of Things) is a cellular standard developed by 3GPP to enable low-power, wide area network connectivity for IoT devices. It is optimized for providing wide coverage and enhanced indoor penetration to stationary IoT sensors and meters.
It completed standardization in 3GPP Release 13 ,communication standard lets IoT devices operate via carrier networks, either within an existing Global System for Mobile (GSM) communication carrier wave, in an unused guard band between Long-Term Evolution (LTE) channels or independently. It can enable a broad range of new IoT devices and services. It reduces the power consumption of connected devices while increasing system capacity and bandwidth efficiency, particularly in locations that aren't easily covered by traditional cellular technologies. NB-IoT-connected devices can have a battery life of more than 10 years for many use cases.
What is LTE-M?
LTE-M (also LTE-MTC and LTE Cat M) is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technology that allows the reuse of an LTE installed base with extended coverage. LTE-M, which stands for LTE-Machine Type Communication (MTC), is also an LPWAN technology developed by 3GPP to enable devices and services specifically for IoT applications. The data rate of LTE-M is 1 Mbps for 3GPP Release 13, rising to 4 Mbps for Release 14. Additionally, LTE-M offers greater mobility and voice capability over the network.
Advantages of LTE-M and NB-IoT technologies
LTE-M and NB-IoT are designed to support IoT devices that need a long battery life or are used at locations that are difficult to reach with normal 4G technology, such as deep indoor locations.
